The First Cut

Before the fusion, there was an ending. Someone had to witness it. She was not sent to save the worlds. There was nothing left to save. She was sent to choose what would remain. A world was too large to carry beyond its ending. So she cut it. Not into ruins. Not into dust. Into fragments small enough to survive. Every character you will meet is a piece of something she broke on purpose. She kept the first fragment for herself. No one knows why. No one knows what is inside.
